You guys can get off your pedestals now. I gave a warning notice before continuing my post but you read it anyway didn't you? And then you judge me. Just for the record, this was not a bash on the Savage. I have more miles on it than probably all of you combined. I have contributed a lot of useful information to this site since 1998. Much more than any of you. My review is posted on this site, along with helpful info on the white spacer issue and ride reports. I have a deep distrust of dealer service depts and try to avoid them at all costs. Yes, you're right, I wasn't able to fix the leak. But that doesn't mean I should get shafted with a bunch of labor hours when I know how long it takes to get to the seal. And another thing. I don't normally curse on-line, but I just got off the phone and was really pissed and needed to vent. I thought (wrongly) that at least fellow Savage owners might be sympathetic. Besides, isn't this a biker site? Are we not allowed to be a little off-color once in a while? Don't be such wimps.
